Organically Grown
Our family farm hosts about 3,000 Lavender plants of the Phenomenal and Superblue varieties. We practice a completely holistic approach to raising the plants from seedlings which we planted by hand in summer 2017. We never use additives or pesticides at any point in our growing, distilling, or production processes. All of our products are grown and processed using environmentally sustainable practices and support animal welfare. |
Copper Alembic Still
Copper is the best material to use for distilling essential oil for several reasons, First, its high thermal conductivity ensures that heat spreads evenly across the distillation chamber, leading to a more efficient and consistent process, and thus a higher quality product. Next, copper naturally absorbs sulfur compounds and yeast cells, resulting in a cleaner, sweeter distillate. In addition to its corrosion resistance and high durability, copper possesses antibacterial properties which keeps the water pure and protected from bacterial contamination.
